1. Application

 

These terms and conditions apply to purchasers of the retreat as described in the advertisement. Guests must be 18 or over.

 

1. Payment

 

Payment of the deposit is required upon purchase. The deposit amount will be deducted from the total cost of retreat. Full payment for the retreat must be cleared 30 days prior to the first day of the retreat. Flights and transfers are not included within the payment and it is incumbent on the buyer to organise their own travel arrangements. One dinner in the week in Saint-Émilion is payable by the buyer and is not included within the purchase price. The airport transfer is included if recommended flights from major London airports are chosen. If not, the transfer is the responsibility of the buyer.

 

1. The Services

 

The services due to be rendered are those set out in the advertisement of the retreat. Services contracted for are limited to those services and additional services may be supplied but it is not incumbent on the purchaser to provide services not described in the advertisement. The price is fixed as per the conditions set out in the advertisement. There will be no subjective price fluctuations.

 

1. Confidentiality

 

Personal details given by the buyer may be shared with agents of the seller for the purposes of delivering the services purchased only. No details will be shared with any third party not necessary for the fulfilment of the contract.

 

1. Refunds

 

Refunds are not available unless an exemption listed in section 7 may be relied upon.

 

1. COVID-19 Policy

 

A full refund will be available in the following situations only: the UK government prohibits travel to France for the organised period, the French government prohibits travel from the United Kingdom for the organised period. Refunds may also be provided if the French government prohibits the use of Bed & Breakfast establishments or gatherings in France. Certain travel permissions or additional testing requirements may be necessitated by either French or British government. Responsibility to comply with these guidelines falls on the buyer and refunds will not be available for travel issues related to lack of implementation of said guidelines. Each guest will be provided with an individual workout matt and sweat towel along with regular cleaning and housekeeping to rooms and rest of house, including all workout equipment.

 

1. Force Majeure

Neither Party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations where such failure or delay results from any cause that is beyond the reasonable control of that Party. Such causes include, but are not limited to; power failure, Internet Service Provider failure, industrial action, civil unrest, fire, flood, storms, earthquakes, acts of terrorism, acts of war, governmental action or any other event that is beyond the control of the Party in question.
